1) Advanced Match type We're simplifying our match type options by combining the current Phrase and Broad match types into one match type called Advanced. The Advanced match type, a feature of Overture's Precision MatchT product, provides search users with relevant listings even when the bidded keyword does not match word-for-word with the search query. The Advanced match type allows you to target additional customers while still using your existing listings, saving you both time and effort.
2) Budgeting We're adding a new Budgeting feature that will help control your monthly spend at the account level, based on the amount of money you specify as your daily budget. It will also spread the display of your listings across the day to correspond to your desired spend. Budgeting will make account management easier and help ensure that your flow of customers remains constant.
3) Advanced Tracking URLs We are enhancing your ability to use tracking URLs to accumulateseparate and distinct information on traffic from both Precision Match types and Content MatchT. Overture's improved tracking URLs will now be compatible with top third-party analytics systems, which will provide you with greater insight into the performance of each product and match type, making it easier to manage your account for maximum profit.
Why are they trying to be like Google? Spreading listings across the day, the low click index, budgets. I thought the purpose of competition was for companies to better themselves from the comp through differentiation.
