I have seen it quite often over the last month. I posted about it in another thread. They are either testing, or maybe they just randomly show pure results without ads.

I notice it on ocassion as well...Just refresh the page and they come back. It's a bummer though because I know I'm losing impressions because of this.

It's happened several times today. IMHO, they're intentionally testing the organic results to see how they can maximize income from the eventual PPI/PPC results, no glitch. They're finding the optimal mix of directory listings, Overture results and other goodies to stir the pot (or whatever it is they think they're doing with their pot.) A wise man once said pass me my boots, it's getting deep.

I see ads sometimes there, and sometimes not. About 50-50. But I also see results bounce around in terms of position for certain keywords.

I've been checking Yahoo 2-3 times daily since this thread started, just to see if I noticed anythihng unusual. The ad layout has been the same here the entire time. 2-4 ads at the top, 4 on the side, and 2-4 at the bottom. I've searched for 10 different KWs each time, and always the same results. All my OV accounts have held steady impressions for the past month, so its not reflecting in my traffic either if there are other KWs not showing.
