I've just got my ad tracking software in place and I noticed some strange things with Overture. On one particular keyword I noticed lots of clicks within approx 5 minutes, some seperated by just a few seconds. The click came from the same advert, and the keyword was not a major keyword.
Firstly, don't Overture have keyword protection? or do they expect everyone to keep an eye on everything?
I have noticed that consistantly. Also if customer goes to checkout and then back to site, they count the clicks. When I asked for an explanation, they gave me some gobbledygook about the wonderful things they do to prevent overcounting clicks. What hogwash! They can do what they want, and, until enough people catch them at it, they will count any way they want.
