What's going on with Web Wombat?

Hello,

This may only be relevant to Australian users but I was wondering if anyone had been indexed by Web Wombat recently?

I've been submitting over the last couple of months and have had no luck. The spider visits (www.WebWombat.com.au) but only indexes one page at a time in a week but I never see any of these pages being added to their index.

Web Wombat is fairly useless when indexing but surely they must be indexing some pages? Has anyone seen much traffic from them over the last couple of months?

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

Don't know Merlin, I'll try to find out what I can. In the meantime, does anyone else have any ideas?

Hi Merlin,

WebWombat is spidering sites but I don't know if they are indexing new sites.

My site was already indexed and has been crawled recently.

Jan 25 - 11 pages
Jan 30 - 11 pages
Feb 8 - robots.txt
Feb 9 - 14 pages
Feb 13 - 14 pages

And a customer's indexed site was crawled on Feb 3,5,16

Both sites have been in WebWombat's database for over 2 years and they have top ten rankings for popular keywords that are used in finding our sites.

I have received very little traffic from WebWombat, less than 0.1%. It is not even in the top 100 referrers to my site by domain name.
