my uk isp who hosts my site have become a nightmare and i want to switch hosts.They have a charge to transfer out my three domains.Why do they charge? what do they need to do? if i register with another webhost what work does me isp do? are they entitled to charge me?

reply the only work they have to do is an email to nominet for the .uk domains and to accept a transfer for the .com etc domains. In general release fees are charged to make customers think twice about changing hosts.
