Hi i would like to put a mailing list on my website so people can submit to. I dont want to have a bannered one where it has a big name against it. Does anyone know of a good one or maybe even a cgi script that i can use thanks.

Hi midi25

The first one I ever used is a freebee called nmmdadmin. It let users subscribe or unsubscribe. You also get some management tool for different mailing lists. It was easy to install and configure for the newbie I was then. If you have your own cgi-bin, your are done in 30 minutes.

If you try a Google search on such name as " nmmdadmin " you can't be very far. ;)

I think the site was big bird or big nose, I can't really remember.

Try this [alltheweb.com]

You could also go to a place like hotscripts and perform a simple search - plenty of resources, with good descriptions.
Perhaps start out with dmoz.org?

Yes that is very true. hotscrips will probably have some freebee better suited to your needs midi25.

It's just that when I found this one years ago, I stopped shopping around.
