I use Hostica.com 5mb for $1 per month. For about $25US you can have a little 5 mb website & domain name. (with FP extensions) Cheers from the Outback

Not anymore. :-( That is why I'm scouring the old threads for web hosting suggestions. I really want multiple email accounts and web based email for my family. Muskie

lenzmultimedia.com does 50 MB for $2.95/month and no setup fee. I haven't tried them but I know a couple of people who are comfortable with the support.

Thanks for the suggestions some of them sound very interesting. Powweb and PHPWebHosting are also less then 10 US dollars, of course I'm Canadian... I plan to put together my own little table, with the features that interest me. I figure what the hell, the internet needs another table right? Thanks again, Muskie

Muskie, I'd be keen to see that table. I'm currently paying NZ$350 (about US$160) per year for hosting here in New Zealand.. and it's an html only account. Time to bite the bullet and start lookin offshore.

I wouldn't suggest taking the domain name through spiderhosts. Long story, but it's probably better to go directly to the registrar for a domain name and take hosting separately.

I'll try to put the table online this weekend. I've looked at dozens of cheaper hosting plans, there really is a lot of competition. Even companies in the UK list their prices in USD sometimes though. I personally don't need a MySQL database right now for instance so some features which might be of value to some won't be weighted highly in my decision making process. Muskie
