I'm a bit gutted then - I didn't get one! Doesn't google cancel link pop on seeing a change in WHOIS records though? I'm sure I saw a thread on that here somewhere.

Trillianjedi...Good point, I think I read that somewhere too! So, looks like a mass spam campaign to buy people's sites :) Apparently my site had some "theme" that they were looking for as well. I wonder how many "themes" this particular company was looking for and how many sites they were willing to "buy". Dave.

There are some sites with high PR and/or high traffic that haven't been monetized and represent little value to their owners. One or two of these might leap at the chance to unload what they see as worthless property for a few bucks.

Rogerd...I completely 100% agree with you. It's likely that this company will be quite successful buying people's sites because these people just don't know how to monetize their sites (or are just tired of them). I'm sure this company will do well, I'm just glad I know the value of my sites and what I can get out of them...more than just money, but satisfaction of my hard work too. Dave.
