Hosting with PHP 4.3, GD_Lib, Pear:SOAP, etc... anyone?

 3:28 pm on Jan 27, 2004 (gmt 0)

I would really like to leave my old webhost, who we are really overpaying for. We had a rack but now want to scale down to a shared plan. Trouble is, we need a web host with PHP 4.3, GD_Lib, Pear:SOAP and ImageMagick all ready to go.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Hi Manga

We generally like to stay away from hosting company names here. It becomes difficult to distinguish recommendations from promotional posts.

Have you tried searching for hosts comparison sites? I used a couple of those when making my hosting decision.

I figured that some people might try and post promo stuff in here, but if they are promoting their webhosting company and it solves my problem then I can't blame them... :)

But I have searched all over. The only one I have found so far is QuadraHosting in Australia. I'd really like to stay in the US.

Also those hosting directory sites, always seem to have the same webhosts on them, and I just got tired of looking through all of those directories at the same information.

Thanks for your reply though! If you do know of any companies send me a PM.
