I noticed a referral in the logs today from ggoogle.com. Figured it was some spoofed scraper-bot at first, but then checked it out. It seems to be the real Google. Have they done this for a while, maintaining active search url's that cover typos? First I've noticed it, but I've never looked for it before.

I think they have. Other search engines do it as well (e.g. yahooo.com).
