I always do it when add a new page to my site. It does no harm. As far as I understand the resubmit button is to inform Google that your site map has changed and need to be revisited. So why should it do any harm? Vadim.

Thanks for your answer.
The reason is my site was crawled by Mozilla Gbot heavily for the past 2 weeks and the pages are still not shown in the G serps.. Previously it has around 70k and now it only shows about 100 pages only. I guess I have to wait then.
