Nicely timed release by Google to take some of the wind out of Microsoft's Office Live beta buzz. I wonder how long they have been planning this?
Looks very similar to Google's Blogger service, btw.

Yeah, Google should start out more than 100000000 services not just search, this will help them getting real big. We have seen this tons of times that companies fail when they loose their focus.

While this is a valid point, there is a counterpoint that companies who only focus on one thing miss growing markets and are eventually bought out or put out of business by larger competitors.
A company needs to find the balance - and that is not easy.

And this really is like an extension to their Blogger service. They are not losing focus, at least not with this service.
