As long as the registrars are both in the same country, I've never heard anyone even suspect a problem was caused by a registrar change.

I see absolutely no evidence to support any change of search rank based upon a change of domain registrar (same country or not). I switched all my domains from NetSol to GoDaddy many years ago, and continue to switch client domain names today. Nothing bad has ever occurred to the SE rankings due to the switch.

Hi Everyone, I have a question about buying old domain names and the effect of their age on google ranking. I have the opportunity to buy a 4-year old domain which has the keyword (cityname) of my topic in it. It has some pages listed in all search engines by doing the site: query. At the moment the main page is only an info page to sell the domain, so all subpages are gone. The site has never contain any information related to my exact topic, just the name of the city. Will the "4 year" grow my rankings if I built up my pages and url-s on it? Thanks for any comment. Flower
