Technique to include alternate keywords
"How others reached this page:"

 7:29 am on Nov 13, 2005 (gmt 0)

I am working on a certain page that has dozens of alterante phrases...would Google frown upon doing this:

On the bottom of the page (still easily visible), putting something like:

How other searchers reached this page: Keyword 2, Keyword 3, Keyword 4, Keyword 5

Or is that too spammy?

Quite common - it's called "tagging".

So I assume based on Brett's Answer that this is quite common it is ok and not frowned upon?

Hidde Text is quite common to, but we all know that it is definitely frowned upon.

So which is it?

I think you'd be fine as long as the list of keywords was only five or six (relevant) words long and not five or six hundred!

Numerous Key phrase tagged Sites are performing well on Google.

IMO Google will not penalize for do so.
