One thing really bugs me about the image though - the color of the cake. Its like a pumpkin pie color which really seems odd.

Not to pick but a candle or two would have been a clearer image. I must be old as seven years seems such a short time to become what they have become.

"Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to you My site is still sandboxed Google what shall I do?" Nice mate ;) Quite scary really, that a small two person startup can go to a buisness rivalling Warner Brothers and Co. in jsut seven years.

Happy Birthday Google! Now that I have your attention, I just want to let you know, that I've been waiting for years for some gOOgle sunglasses to come out. Every year I have to go thru the summer without some gOOgle sunglasses. GET ON IT! :)

"Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to you My site is still sandboxed Google what shall I do?" hehe:) about the cakes.. it would be better if they added a candle on each one? though usually it should be one cake with seven candles.. but google is odd you know:)

"Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to you My site is still sandboxed Google what shall I do?" Yeah, me too. Maybe they could do like the hobbits and give gifts to everyone else on their birthday. Make mine sans sandbox. Happy Birthday, Google.

Do those slices of cake have cherries on them? Like, maraschino cherries?!? Ew! Maybe on pineapple upside-down cake, but on chocolate and peanut butter cake? Gross! Double gross! Looks like a Googler took a bite out of the piece on the end but decided not to finish it. Can't say that I blame him, what with those gross cherries on the top and all.

| Hmmm, I don't think they'll be around another 7 years. Certainly not without merging, re-branding, etc. The name's already starting to sound pretty silly. I feel stupid if I say it too many times over, it has no durability. It doesn't compute any more -thousands of shareholders and billions of dollars hidden behind a cute, cuddly little friendly name. Honest 2 man start up - perfect, multibillion dollar corporation manipulating results and trying to dominate the world, nah, won’t wash for long. [End of rant]
