Supposedly any hour now, this is going to go live [blogsearch.google.com...] The FAQ is currently available: [google.com...] We'll see how well they do against blog spammers... (and spam bloggers!)

Wow it looks like old-school classic google layout. I kinda miss that style! Whats with the huge spaces between each result? Very beta...

Hope this catches on, I'm #1 and all over the serps for my topic.. Explains why google has been pounding my rss feeds, which show up as 'unrecognized format' in a regular google search

In our industry, the Google Blog search results are nonsensical. Technorati & Blogdigger destroy these results.

| I agree completely. The FAQ suggests searching for Harry Potter reviews and several of the top 10 results for "harry potter" are sexually explicit (let alone it doesn't include any of the top Harry Potter fan sites - all of which have RSS feeds).

Does this mean that blog entries will eventually be removed from, or given lower weighting in, the main index? Hmmm...

hmm, site: doesn't appear to work, but searching for the full name of my weblog gets near enough. :) Have I mentioned how much I hate the term "blog"? Reminds me of a slang term for a toilet. Edit: Ah, it's "blogurl:" instead! :)
