You might try the &filter=0 appended to the end of the G URL appearing in the address bar after the search is done. This is supposed to remove that line about "some of the search results have been omitted" and "if you want to do the search again click here". Google doesn't show any more than 100 results and often less than this. Don't forget that Google is a search engine that is designed to help Joe Public find information. Joe would never look all the way through anywhere near 1000 results.

Not perfect but it is useful: Go to the Google Advanced Search page Do lots of advanced searches with different settings (eg date range, only PDFs, exclude *.org, etc) Save all result pages stitch them together Easier to do with the SOAP API and 30 minutes of writing some scripts

No search engine that I am aware of goes beyond 1000 results.

Confirm - it was even stated ufficially somewhere by Google - they deliver up to 1000 results - i know no way to list more
