Hi all,
I would like to know that if i take 500 pages of our site and translate them into german will google naturally see it as german content and therefore show me in their .de serps or would i have to submit those pages to google?

I have never needed to market my site in different languages and due to new business objectives this is what we now have to do. So to reiterate, will my german content show on google.de

Many thanks and happy surfing

Skye

I've seen results in my logs from Google in many different countries with any submission. So I see no reasom why yours wouldn't too.

I have read many a time that to best serve a local market it is advisable to get a hosting solution in the specific countries.
Could this be another of the many factors that contribute to a successful online marketing campaign in the foreign markets?

I'd register a .de domain to host your German language content.

It has benefits with Google and it has further benefits if, in the future, the German site takes off and it needs expanding.
