Would 80% Spacing Cause Problems in Google?

....if I have some text with compressed spacing (less-than-single-spaced - 80%)? There is a section of my site where I want a block of text to fit in a specific area, but it only looks good if I use 80% spacing. I don't want to shrink down the text and make it a pain to read.

I'm just wondering if Google would flag something like this, give me a zero PR and then come over and kick my ass!

Don't worry, googlebot isn't that smart. I see white 1px text on white background all the time on pages with good rankings.
