Some people say that the recent Allegra Update [webmasterworld.com] is still sending tremors into the SERPS [webmasterworld.com], or even isn't yet finished. There seem to be different results depending to what datacenter you connect. Actually I experienced something similar today: we optimized a subpage on Friday, and when I checked this morning it went to #3 (from somewhere below the 7th page of SERPS). Nevertheless, I didn't get that same result again - I got everything between #7 and #12. Just check again in a few days.

Holy Cow! THE GOOGLE INDEX HAS DISAPPEARED! Quick tell someone! Does GoogleGuy know about this? Hey hold on. Google still works! Without an index! How? Wow, they must really be using pidgeons. ;-) (sorry, couldn't resist).

| Google Indexing Disappeared |
| mrMister: The title doesnt say Google Index disappeared, it says 'indexing' Disappeared. Hey swick: Some say that a website will rank ok for the first day or more then be sandboxed. pmkpmk has it right read the links he gave. Ps. If no one has said it, Welcome to Webmaster World!

You need not to panic swick. This is quite a common phenominan. Google during the first index of the site temporarily include it in the SERPS for some time and then drops it till the next update. The next SERPs update will see this site permanently included in the SERPS.Its position in the SERPS will depend upon how effctively you've optimized the site. and yes your site is not sandboxed.

| Characterized by a narrow, often ostentatious concern for book learning and formal rules. Im not always narrow lol, I thought it wasnt very nice for someone to get a reply like that on his first few posts.

| :( No one welcomed me in my first post. lol just kidding I dont understand recent google changes. My site has only homepage, while all others are supplemental way back in November 2004. Yahoo and MSN are doing well.
