Sandbox & Subdomains
Does a new sub get sandboxed?

Hi guys

Sorry if this has been asked similarly before - i tried a site search first but didn't see an answer.

I launched a domain in the v. competitive gambling market last July. I'm either not a very good SEO bod, I'm aiming my keyword-sights yoo high or I'm sandboxed :-)

Anyway, i launched a subdomian about 3 weeks ago. If i assume my main site is not sandboxed, does a subdomain count as a new site in your authoratitive opinions and therefore would get sandboxed?

Many thanks.

PS. I know the sandbox existance theory is hotly debated but I'd like to avoid that debate here if poss :-)
