Has anyone else received an unsual pagerank jolt?
I have a site that I am NOT advertising and have NOT ever advertised. I had the domain registered for months but last week I finished my site and currently was in the process of optimizing my website for preparation of search engine advertising. Today, I noticed a unsual jolt in my pagerank. Early today, (this morning) I had a pagerank of 0, right now currently I have a pagerank of 3. I remind you this site has not been advertised until yesterday.
The only thing I could think of is that I signed up for a livejournal account yesterday, and used my site in the signature.
I see in my logs that livejournal was a referrer and I notice that YahooSlurp! (Inktomi) has crawled my site today, but Googlebot is no where to be found, and this PageRank is Google's. Is any of this possible? Or is this a known or common fluke?
All responses welcomed. Thanks.

There has been a lot of "flukes" recently with Google, most of them NEGATIVE, so it's entirely possible.
You seem to be one of the few benefiting from a positive.. well done :)

I'm not sure what to do with this surge. Meaning, I don't know how to hold on to this rank. Like I said I haven't done any advertising, but I hope I'm able to hold on to it and pick it up rapidly.
Hey, maybe I'll be at PR6 tomorrow, anyone want to exchange links? :-)Just kiddin'

Around the start of Allegra, I relocated a PR2 page and set up a redirect from the old location. Within 24 hours, it went from unranked to PR7. Within another 24 hours, it was back to unranked.
