Mmmkay here's the situation. The recent site we put up has been visited by google and yahoo in the past month since we put the site up. Yahoo came and left, never to be seen since the 15th. Google was hitting us daily for almost 2 weeks, then 3 days ago PFTT..gone.
I have 3 keywords (one is single, two are double) that I am trying to target. Of which, we have several categories using the keywords, and a used a few times throughout the site.
I recently installed a header tags system on our cart that is dynamic and changes for each product etc. However, I think I configure it wrong and it read (past tense) something like this:
Widgets, Blue Widgets - Widgets for anytype of person.
Blue widgets for all.
Widgets, Blue widgets, Red widgets.
Our website is PHP but has a html wrapper that after the first php long url, transforms the rest of the pages to html endings.
WE are currently producing content in the form of articles about our keywords that we plan on placing as links seperate (20 of them) at the bottom of our page. Here are some stats that I ran for my keywords:
Widget - Repeats=22 Density = 4.81% Prominence=79%
Blue Widgets - Repeats=5 Density=2.19 % Pro=92.30%
491 keywords found with density between 2.0% en 15.0% through entire page. Whatever that means as it lists keywords I don't really consider keywords but hey.
Could someone possibly point me as to what this all means for me and a rather competitve keyword and keyword combos (1million searches in Dec)
I'm usually pretty good with ranking on all the pages I have done, especially if I make an effort to do so, this one has me stumped however. Google comes and doesn't dig, just looks and leaves. yet the content changes daily.
What should I do? Where should I start?
