I was in the room when the big hint was made, and it was a pretty funny moment - Daniel began this session (which used to be called Search Engine Smackdown) by saying something like "I know that the biggest question on everyone's mind is 'When will the Google Dance begin'" - and he then gave the announcment. And then a good part of the room wanted to know what a Google Dance is - can you believe it?

Hmm...I just noticed something: GoogleGuy: "What can we expect? Hmmm. I predict a logo to celebrate the holiday. :)" I had thought he was just joking, however it is now obvious he knew about the Michaelangelo logo for today. Thus, unless the update is sometime today GoogleGuy's prediction is wrong. Unless of course they have a special logo for tomorrow too.

GoogleGuy said that some previously banned sites would return within 24hrs. Assuming that they return with the dance, then that would mean we now expect the dance to start within 6 hrs.
