Hello All

Currently I have a PR5 and PR2 on our web sites. We do not have a links page on either of the two but we have "important inbound links". I believe these are boosting the PR5 site to its current status. Now if we develop a links page and offer outbound links back to these prominent ("important sites") will this boost our PR?

And secondly will this boost our search ranking?
I believe these are not directly related as I first thought..

And could you (or Yous) explain why this would or would not help us.

Thanks a lot-much appreciated

At this time, most feel outbound links don't positively affect your rankings or pr. That is not to say they aren't important and may be playing a minor role in a QA check by search engines. Most feel the importance of outbound links is going to grow.

Having an outbound link page at this time is best for reciprocation and link development.
