This is everflux but it's a pretty large one from what I've observed.

So I'm not just seeing things huh. Well that's good. I was just about to go to bed but had to check on good ole Google first. When I saw where I was, the adrinaline started to rush, but I'm about ready to crash again. I'll check again in the morning. Yawn....

Yes it probabaly everflux.
Have had position 1 and 2 on a major keyword both NOT showing the www for months.
Just lost the page at pos 2 ( Good PR, links optimisation etc)
Gained a pos 6 from a totally different deeplinked/low PR/ non optimised page on the site and it has the www.
Not longg ago I asked our hosts to change server so the www showed.
I think this may be an unwanted side effect :(

Not sure but I think that is also a side effect of how other sites are pointing to you. You can access our site from either the www or without, and I only publish it with the WWW. It's one of those decisions you need to make when you start your site. We just use the addres without www to tell people who we are verbally, such as "shop us at widgets.com". No one wants to take the time to say W W W. If it's the www you want, then contact those linking to you without it, and ask them to change.
Folks, am I right with this assumption?

Nope all links are www.
The page now showing doesn't even have external links

I noticed changes too.
Have subdomains been somewhat penalized?

Does anyone know if everflux will also temporarily drop urls/domains, etc?
Some clean (no tricks, just old SEO) url's I had, are not even showing on page 20 of SERPS, when prior position was page one, #2 and #3.
