Banned question
small crawl=banned deep crawl=not banned?

 2:24 pm on Jan 9, 2003 (gmt 0)

I have one site that was banned (grey bar) some time ago. I have noticed that that site only get a small visit from Mr Googlebot. Only robots.txt and index page is crawled.

I have another site (new) which gets deepcrawled. Will this new site not be banned? The 2 site have "some" conection to eachother.

My question is if this is true?
small crawl=banned (over a long period of time)
deep crawl=not banned?

are you sure your first site allows Google to index you (robots text)?

A grey toolbar is not specifically a google ban, as a white toolbar is not specifically a Google penalty.

Strange Google does not give some clarifications on that on their website.
(at least I could not find any information on that).

Yes The old site was in the google index.

My question is if google deepcrawls you are you still banned?

Really need an answer!

GoogleGuy recently said that some penalties were being lifted this month. Are they pages that haven't been crawled since the ban?

they were craweled in the begining of December. Then Googlebot stopped. Now it has done a deepcrawl...
