Stop words in domain question

I know this has been discussed in another post, but I currently use a domain www.the"domainname".com but I also own "domain".com

"domain" is a top keyword for my site.

Does it make a difference if one has "the" in it and should I switch? What do people think?

Is it the-domain.com or thedomain.com?
