multiple sites delisted...

I'm gonna ask this question of Brett.

Any suggestions on methods used to lure Google back to a site which has been delisted from the SERPS?

We host close to 300 sites across 2 servers(same host). We're doing things right and a good chunk have great PR, but some have completely disappeared. Especially after the Gbomb several months ago. But even recently, we've lost a couple more. We can afford to build new sites, host elsewhere. It only represents a pain in a webmaster's life.

Will moving the sites over to a brand new host trigger Googlebot? I've tried new DNS and new IP's, same host. No luck.

Your thoughts are very much appreciated....

Some ideas:

Get a few more indexed links & maybe Googlebot will follow them on the next crawl.

Try placing a robots.txt disallow on the site for a couple months. Some have said G'bot has returned after removing a temporary disallow.

Submitting at G's site. You never know :)

How long have these sites been out of the index? Are they whole sites or just pages? Are they new pages/sites or have they been around more than 2 months?

i've added the noarchive tag to a few of the sites, then used a new domain with the old site, and whola, they were spidered. but, i'm trying not to have to do that. i'd like to preserve the links we've developed over the months.

they are full sites, some, out of the index coming on 3 months. the last thing i'm gonna do is wait for 6 months and find out, yes or no. patience is a virtue, but not in this scenario. :)
