| Are Advertising Links Off a Parked URL Hurting Me? While I wasn't paying attention... |

One that had been "dormant", I recently got hosted and uploaded all my info to. This was two weeks ago. Now, I find that Dotster had the page "up" and had filled it with links to all sorts of BS (the kind you continually get spam emails for - ink cartridges, etc.) previous to this. It was clearly my URL and the links were NOT javascript. Is it possible that these links, were they to link to a "bad neighborhood", would give the Google Gods a bad "report" about my site before it even started? This would be extremely upsetting, to say the least. Any ideas on this? Thanks. MC
