I just tried link:www.microsoft.com 'cause I got tired of seeing 657'000. Noticed for the first time that the result number one is a page titled 'About TRUSTe' and the description 'TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit, global initiative aimed at building trust and confidence...'

Somehow ironic... :)

Don't you think Microsoft respects our privacy? ;-)
By the way, why doesn't the board change the ;-) into the graphical version? I haveb't disabled the graphic smilies!

You have to show your ultimate commitment to Google, and a temp won't cut it!

Can you imagine the person who won this contest six years ago and is sporting an Altavista tattoo? :)

.... I'm hoping we will break into 'IKO, IKO' ...or even 'The Women are Smarter'... before we come to that part of the song.

Hate to be an utter bore - but!

Could any mention of 'update' or 'wwwx' be shifted to the Google 'discussion' thread unless the poster has at least 500 posts - please? We know when certain posters say 'update' - it is an update! Experience tells!

I understand the excitement of the newbies, we all were there. Filling up WebmasterWorld with every comment on a maybe/willbe/hasbeen/wasn't/ update is getting a little too much :)

I know the Moderators work hard to control this - but stick all the new postings (less than 500) with this header into the main 'pit' of discussion - please?

<edit> Jeez - I just read this and ask you to forgive my anger. I've done this too long, probably am a bit too demanding and certainly too arrogant! However, I still believe the sentiments are true </edit>

>>>I still think that sunshine and stepping away from the computer is the healthiest thing to do.

I think I am stepping away from the computer right now.
Hey folks, what if EVERYBODY walk away from the computer?
Have you heard, Googleguy? EVERYBODY is going to walk away from the computer. NOBODY is going to notice if you push the update button...

Bye... bye... bye... ;) ;)
