The last hard work I did got me a 0 :) Prior to that mostly 5's which was worth top 5 in my cat for a few months.

I also usually shoot for a 5. If I can get that I usually will get top 5 listings for my major keywords and #1 or #2 for my secondary words.

I was totally clueless about PR and the Google toolbar. Was I surprised when I downloaded the toolbar and saw a PR6. :)

I have a PR10

No wait.. Sorry I mean PR5 .. Although this is my sites first month in the index. I would think that next month I should be closer to a 6 and if I don't have it by next month then I should get before christmas.

Although I'll be much happier with a 5 than a 0.. ANY DAY

I have a PR 6. Just hold the mouse cursor over the little bar, and a tooltip should tell you what PageRank is and what the current page's rank is.

PR 5 here. Also, I am not sure I understand how a site ranking pr5 or pr6 would all of a sudden get pr2 or worse without linking to a bad neighborhood (or unless there is a glitch that affected count of backlinks or if they did something spammy). One thing that happened to me that almost cost me big time was that I discovered 3 outgoing links on the main page of my site that had pr0. When I added these they were pr5. I imagine that I caught them and removed them just in time before I got penalized. Since then, I check every outbound link to make sure they work and to make sure their pr is sufficient to stay listed on my site. I would bet that many people fail to periodically quality check their outbound links (especially sites with hundreds out outbound links) to make sure they remain top quality.

What could normally be achieved depends on the category.
Non-profit a lot easier than profit.
English a lot easier than foreign [webmasterworld.com].

My best hand (for a single client) is four 7's. I am desperately trying to get one of them up to 8 - I'd love an 8. I'd dance around the room if I had a pair of 8's...

My personal site (profile) was a 6. Can't use the GToolbar any longer so I have no idea what it is now.

PR3 when they are first published rising through PR4 and reaching PR5 generaly after 6 months or so.

All of my sites are small businesses and therefore getting worthwhile linking is b***dy hard work so PR5 is my target and usualy enables good optimisation to work.

A bunch of fives. This is usually good enough for a top ten, even for competitive keywords, if you look afetr other variables as well. I can usually get to 5 within 2-3 months. Would like to get them to 6, though.
