America Online subsidiary CompuServe has quietly added Google's paid search results to its Web site, publishing the sponsored listings alongside similar links provided by rival Overture Services.

Overture needs some competition. Way to go Google!

I see some danger signals for Google here. Will/are the 'Google' links on compuserve clearly listed as sponsored, or will CS users see these as 'pure' Google results? Google has to be careful about branding and sub branding issues here.

Is compuserve the only place where Google is sharing their Adwords Select listings? With Google's Adwords Select off-to-the-right as they are, I could definately see many more of the other engines going with both Overture AND Google ads in the same manner as Compuserve is doing (a nice way to increase revenue for the engines, and double-up on PPC keyword exposure for advertisers). What do you all think?
