My guess is it's intended to take the strain off of www2&3. :)

Larry: Those WebmasterWorld guys are flooding us when the dance begins.

Sergey: Let's create a diversion and give away some trinkets.

"What? Google has a Quiz?!?"

And your not allowed to play :(

Do not enter this contest if you are not located in the United States.

You must be a legal resident of the United States and 18 years or older at the time of entry

International contests (with some prizes at the end) are almost impossible to come by. Federal laws, I think...

Hmm - what about this one: CSS-Design contest for ATW Alchemist [webmasterworld.com]

Open for all, with much better prices, and even a claim to fame...

Don't feel too bad Mac, the gizmo quiz is usually much more challenging that the Google Quiz was. The hardest part about it was waiting for the next question to load... ;)

The Google IP filter means that here in Australia - I have no idea what you guys are talking about.... Google aren't even displaying a quiz to us Aussies....

If Australia beats the USA in the Swimming at Yokohama - will you give us an 'Aussies only' quiz Googleguy???

Is the quiz still there and I can't see because of IP? Would be nice if non-US people could at least take the quiz, even if we cannot win anything. :(

And if the aussies get a quiz, I want one for Switzerland if we beat the US guys at some skying competition ;).

Only if New Zealand gets one for beating the US at rugby ;)

I can't see the link anywhere but I'm not in the US either.

<edit> Oh, there's a link to it on the googlestore page.</edit>

If you goto google.co.uk and click on google store you have a link to the quiz. Useless! concidering you cant enter it unless you live in the USA...
