A while back, there were image results showing at the top of the serps, it disappeared and now is back. Just did a search to find: "See 31,000 image results for 'my search term"» at the top of the serp.

[images.google.com...] is this new?...I don't think so...image search was there for a long long time. By the way google images is broken. images deleted in March 2004 are still in the index (10 months later).

mars9820, he is talking about an image search suggestion when a normal web search is performed. That's definately brand new on Google.
