Most competitive two word search phrase for Google results?
Which two word phrase tops the list?

I have often wondered if I am doing well on search rankings for competitive search phrases. One way of looking at it (but certainly not the best - I know Wordtracker and Overture suggestion are better) is the number of search results Google lists.

Which search phrase would get the most search results within a Google search? (the number on the top right?) That is not counting what google sees as stopwords (the, a, and..)

Just a few:

new copyright ---- 7.150.000
copyright free --- 6.690.000
new free --------- 6.850.000
new page --------- 6.490.000
last updated ----- 6.390.000
advanced search -- 4.790.000
forum information - 4.360.000
tv news ----------- 4.100.000
search engine ----- 3.330.000

You see I get bored just after Google updates :)

Happily enough, there are twice as many "love you"s as there are "love me"s

Anyone beat my "and the" quoted phrase or [you all] combo yet? Eh?

Google is cheating:(

There are to many results with nearly the same number of hits.

"There are to many results with nearly the same number of hits"

My thoughts also. They are hitting some kind of max somehow. I can see the max is not a given value but a max all the same.

ok i think ill skip a few bar conferences if a search phrase is http of a s, they aint words :)

but i guess (maybe even worthy of a new thread!!!) we could see who can get as close to the number of pages in google (i.e. 2 billion)

Remember there is a difference in Google's number of results in how "clean" you are searching !

can not - with no filters (preferences) 8.110
can not - with safe filter 8.080

Or in other words there are 30.000 pages in a specific un-safe category, listing that they explicitly "can not" do something ;)
