Dropped To Bottom Of Serps
Found something strange

One of our sites recently suffered a huge drop in Google.

While checking things out a bit I noticed that someone has recently redirected a couple of their pages to this site. Digging deeper I found that this particular site has a huge number of redirects to other sites - all of these other sites also seem to be suffering in Google.

Is it possible that someone has figured out a way to get competition penalized via a redirect scheme?

I'd get in touch with google as soon as possible and alert them to this, also check the site doing the redirects for grayed out page rank bar or zero page rank. Keep us posted on what happens, this is one I'd like to see how turns out.

Yes it seems possible and was my main concern recently on why so many quality sites fell in rankings. Makes more sense than the rotation theory or any of the others.
