If you want to see all backlinks you would be better of using Yahoo! [search.yahoo.com] which shows 500,000 more links Brett :) Yeah, percentages, G is definitely perculating a bit more than usual right now.

I'm not seeing any updates to the backlinks though the SERPS certainly have changed over the last 72 hours.

We are seeing substantial changes in backlinks, similar to the last recent shuffle of backlinks without PR change. we are seeing backlink re-appear that have been non-existant since May 2004 and are seeing many many PR0 and low PR links appear in backlinks. Hopefully this will settle down with the result being a PR update. By the Way, Brett - really enjoyed seeing you speak on the Organic Listings forum at SES San Jose. Kristos--

"Yeah, percentages, G is definitely perculating a bit more than usual right now." Agree. Which I initially found weird, cause you would think they would want to be a church mouse this week. I've been using Yahoo for backlink checks. G isn't reliable from that angle anymore. They know about them - obvious from the ranks on some of my sites, but they aren't showing them for whatever reason.

Most of the weird backlinks from scraper sites etc have gone from what google shows. The number being reported is the same.

I have seen a change in backlinks. Ever since the dodgy July update, only 55 backlinks are shown for my PR7 site. www2 and www3 are now showing 52 backlinks - when I am actually aware of at least 10+ new PR6 links to my site. A note to Google - you are really annoying the geeks and webmasters among us who monitor page rank and backlinks - im sure we only make up a few % of your users - but ..... hurry up with the PR update already!

It's been about 6 weeks since the last PageRank update. I sure hope it will follow this backlink update as was common in previous updates (except the last one).

Major changes for my site: PR0 to PR4, 0 backlinks (error) to 57 backlinks. Typing in my web address to google now gives a description of my site (before there was nothing). Although sites such as cj.com are still PR0, so maybe it is affecting some sites at the moment, but not all.

in the beginning only some datacenters showed up the pr4 instead of pr6 but now all datacenter showing pr4 , it's correctly because the site have only 20 backlinks (i've terminated some link trade and closed the website on the domain) thats the only pr update that i've seen, please if anyone have seen other pr updates tell us..
