Redirecting Increased PageRank

I have not made any changes on one of my sites in over 4 months. It just has some info about me and what I do. I really haven't done anything for seo or anything on it.
I have a total of 3 links to my page that I know of and 2 linked to
hllp://domain.com
1 linked to
hllp://www.domain.com

so I changed my .htaccess file to permenently redirect from www.domain.com to domain.com and my google pr went from 0 to 2 in the last crawl. I can't see it being anything else since nothing else has changed in months (yes I neglect it a little). It has never had a pr rating about 0 before!

Just wanted to see what anyone thought of that. Maybe it will help someone out in there search for the green bar!

I figured that it made a difference or google changed something. Who knows.
