Is it Good to Link Sites Together?

 3:12 pm on Apr 21, 2004 (gmt 0)

Hi all,
I'm working on a new network which will have a large number of websites. I planned to add a section on each website which adds a link to all other unique websites ( newspages, not content ). But I read something called PR0 <=> Bad ranking. So is this a good idea to link own websites?

What about a few sites on the same broad topic (say Science) which all have their very unique content, but on similar topics. Then interlinking the common topics from respective pages. How does that sound?

Roomy, try it and see. Nothing to lose as it is a new site anyway, but definitely do NOT link from the new site to the old sites as that may jeopardize them.

Jackpot, I assume you mean all pages that are on different domains but on same IP address. That could be a problem if they have no opther links. If they are all in the same domain then no problem.

Imaster, that is exactlt what you should do provided one of them is already well rated.
