Does google spider after a?

My question stems from building a dynamic website and speaking with alot of other webmasters. The question is if I have a URL in my site like:
Most webmasters I have spoke to about this is that Google stops at the? and does not spider this page properly.
Any thoughts on this matter will be appreciated.

The? in itself is not a bar to spidering.
Do a search for
You'll see the first two results have a? in the URL and webmasterworld comes up 4th and 5th with a discussion on this.

One thing that you should watch out for though is using?id= as Google has 'hinted' that this looks like a session ID and 'may' be ignored.
If it just goes straight to the?123456 then there shouldn't be a problem.
