How to know if a site is banned?
How to know if a site is banned?

 12:25 pm on Mar 2, 2004 (gmt 0)

We have a couple of new websites developed(with seo), we had submitted the same to google more than 3 weeks back. None of them seem to get indexed. We promoted the sites to various directory listings.. & resubmitted to most search engines. Finding it difficult to get the contents indexed. Any suggestions?

Try to visit the site with the Google toolbar turned on. Also, get a couple of deep links.

Can't possibly be banned if they are only 3 weeks old. It takes Google 300 years to ban a site :)

If you aren't playing games, you won't get banned. Three weeks is a short period of time. Patience. Quality links will help.

Dont worry,

Google will take aroung 35 days to be index your site. I will ask google to index your site as soon as possible ;-)

G doesn't seem to be deep crawling many sites that have PR4 or lower.

3 weeks isn't much time. Get someone to give you a link from an PR6 or higher index page that gets freshbotted on a regular basis - that will probably speed things up.

Thanks guys for the moral support. I am sure the sites will show up on top page. But Google got to crawl for that.

Whats the max and minimum duration for google to crawl? our site <snip> itself gets crawled nearly once in 2 or 3 days.

I make out the crawl date with google caching date. Also any one knows from where to get the website logs(the log with googlebot foot prints). Hold on... control panel is not instlled... any other answer?

Thanks again for all your +ve responses.

As far as I know, no body can exactly tells minimum or maximum time of google crawler will come. FYI, google fully operates automatically, no human significant control.

Be patient is the key. You can always try to resubmit your root page anytime after 4 weeks.

I hope this will help
