Probably quite a simple question but I want to find out how to do searches such as link:site.com not showing any pages from site.com

Is there somewhere with a list of the different ones?

Brett

Cheers for the reply I've looked on there and can't find anything that tells me how to do a link: search minus links from a particular site

i know I've seen it here somewhere but can't find it. I thought it was link:site.com -site.com but that doesn't seem to work

Just go to the advanced search feature on Google, and for "domain" select "don't" for "return results from the site or domain".

Your search - link:www.appliedlanguage.com -site:appliedlanguage.com - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:
- Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
- Try different keywords.
- Try more general keywords.
- Try fewer keywords.
Also, you can try Google Answers for expert help with your search.

This is the result back using that option?
