Advanced searches google commands jsnow msg:53186 5:04 pm on Jan 15, 2004 (gmt 0) Probably quite a simple question but I want to find out how to do searches such as link:site.com not showing any pages from site.com
Is there somewhere with a list of the different ones?

Cheers for the reply I've looked on there and can't find anything that tells me how to do a link: search minus links from a particular site
i know I've seen it here somewhere but can't find it. I thought it was link:site.com -site.com but that doesn't seem to work

Anybody help on this one? MeditationMan msg:53190 3:15 pm on Jan 16, 2004 (gmt 0)
Just go to the advanced search feature on Google, and for "domain" select "don't" for "return results from the site or domain". jsnow msg:53191 4:04 pm on Jan 16, 2004 (gmt 0)
Your search - link:www.appliedlanguage.com -site:appliedlanguage.com - did not match any documents.
- Make sure all words are spelled correctly. - Try different keywords. - Try more general keywords. - Try fewer keywords. Also, you can try Google Answers for expert help with your search.
This is the result back using that option?
