Package Tracking -- New Feature
Google adds Fedex, UPS tracking, says article

An article published yesterday claims that Google has:

quietly rolled out a new Web search feature that lets users track FedEx and UPS packages

Is this a new feature? It certainly exists, and is mentioned in the "Search by Number" section of the Google Web Search Features page:

That travel conditions search is kind of neat - it'll come in handy over the holidays in the U.S.

I wonder if it will get used.

I hope they add delivery confirmation from USPS.com

Also, UPC is another one that is not mentioned. If you type in a UPC number, Google will display "Look up UPC number" at the very top.

Ask Jeeves has had weather conditions and flight delay info for a while as part of their invisible tabs thing. Seems like a lot of recent Google "innovations" were done by other sites first these days (deskbar, etc). The UPS thing is kewl tho.
