but for now I see no reason to get worked up over it.

and that is really what has led to the present
global debacle.

the real problem is not that some job floats
somewhere. it is the concentration of money
in far fewer hands than was the case in the
recent past.

the theory that tax cuts are a good thing
because it means more money floating in the
economy does not really work when the money
is already in the hands of a privileged few
at the top of the food chain. what really
happens is that the taxes saved only adds
to the hoard stashed away offshore because
they cannot possibly spend it all.

wake up!

your fellow world citizen is not the problem,
it's your boss, your senator, your leaders,
and the special interests they promote or are
beholden to.

a recent publication referred to this as
the WALMARTIZATION of AMERICA. the short
version is that everyone is happy as long
as the low prices are available at the mall.

Marie-Antoinette said, "let them eat cake".

And I think older Brits will remember,
"I'm alright, Jack!". I'll let someone
else explain how this leads to the slippery
slope.

I think we have exhausted this topic, lets move on.

And remember, play nice.
