ww2 and ww3 along with a few of the datacenters are beginning to show pre-florida SERP's. Have they realized their mistake and fixed it, or is this just round 2 E.G they are going after all the sites they missed the first round? Time will tell ...

What i'm seeing from here on www, www2 & 3, .ca and the data center -dc is our main regional site back at #3 (was #2) for one term and #29 for the other (was #8). Please, please hold on to this! I hope it's just not a Sunday morning tease.

Everything looks the same to me. I lost 4 sites in the florida update and none of them are showing on any datacenters.

Main keyword: pre flor/pos 8 flor - - - post flor: ww2 - 53 ww3 - 53 Also seen a lot of big boy sites coming online for my main keyword phrase so some of the loss of position will be due to this. UK - was number 2, still not seen at all..

Do you mean homepages are returning to their original positions. My sites aren't on google anymore. if i type www.mysite.com i do not get any information. both of my sites have a pr6 and show around 300 backlinks each.

Do the sites that are coming back have a cashed date of Dec 6?

Ours has a cached date of Dec.6 and has returned to near it's original posistion.

It could be that the cashed date (Dec 6)is an indicater of which sites have returned to their near pre Florida positions. My sites have not returned to their pre Florida positions and they do not list a cashed date.

My site is cached 6 Dec and up from PR6 to PR7, but *no* change in SERPs. Yet another tentative theory meets the brick wall of contradiction...

My site is not returning yet. When I search for my site using one of our most relevant two word key phrases... it shows a chache date of dec. 5. However, when I search for the same phrase only in the plural form... it shows a cache date of Dec 6. Both searches pull the homepage/directory listing. Does anyone know why it would show different dates for the same page? I ran the search several times thinking in might just be in flux but reproduced the same results each time.

My site seems to be back - pre-florida it was #1, and now it's #2 or #3 (behind one of the directory sites that has been coming and going from the top position). Boy I hope this sticks!

This is not FLORIDA! This is an UPDATE! Backlinks and PR are updated few days ago and now SERPS! What's the name for this update GEOGIA? CALIFORNIA? NEVADA?

Just taking a closer look - our site is the ONLY site that has returned to the pre-florida state - that is to say, our 'index' page has been re-introduced and we have slotted in amoungst the 'rubbish' (I don't know what that says about our site!). Seriously though - our 'index' page ranked #1 for 2 years and I always suspected that as it was only our 'index' page that lost any ground, that as soon as it was returned it would drop into the top positions. As I said a moment or two ago - lets hope it sticks!

| If it is an update, I would like to remind the Webmaster community that the World doesn't mean the United States. Update Greenwich would be appropriate.

| <chuckle> - Nice try. More than once, if I remember correctly :-) Still, us Brits need to stick together. superscript - have you tried a rumour that google.co.uk results are better than google.com? ======= I notice one of my sites has had a lot of pages reindexed as of 4th December - good news for me, especially as one page now seems to be getting daily visits that it's never had before... Definitely lots changing by the day here! DerekH

Nice to see one site back although it's on Page 3 instead of number #6 on the SERPS. But hey, beggars can't be choosers! Just one more site missing - perhaps that one will float up over the coming weeks as it has nothing like the backlinks of the newly returned site.
