Improved Adwords CTR since Florida Update
Fall out of Flordia Update - More people using Adwords

Since the Florida update, I have seen a steady increase in Adword CTR, over the same period last year, after taking all other factors in account.

This would make sense, as consumers who are interested in buying something, are finding that the Google results on the right of the screen, are a lot more relevent than the results on the left.

For those who have been using Adwords to supplement their free results, have you notice this upsurge in Adwords Impressions or CTR.

No, We have used adwords before and after florida but with no free listings at present decided to use a specific url for the ads. Impressions are down in our travel sector, and convertions lower than before, in fact we have now pulled our campaigns since we were losing money, this because adwords bids in our sector have spiralled and so guess what the larger organisations now feature heavily on page 1 ousting the smaller operators like ourselves who at least previously had generated some sales from the free listing and moderate sales from the adwords.

I just mentioned this in another thread...Our CTR is up considerably as our ad now has more relevancy than the Google results. On the same cost per click our bill was up 30% this month.

What do you suppose increased Adwords spending means?

Is your profit rising along with the cost?
