Seems like the new backlinks came on all datacenters immediately. The new PR is at least on -va since my toolbar is pointing at that.

try www-gv database, looks most updated to me.

This is very strange,
had before index pr4 rest pr3
they suddenly gave me pr4 all pages, and the new pages didnīt have any at all.
This morning the new pages with pr.
But they changed again, index pr4, rest pr3

Yeah, backlinks updated according to Google. Looks like a general tiny drop in PR across the board for sites that didn't increase links significantly. I doubt this will make much, if any difference, to SERP's.

Lots of outdated Google Directory backlinks. Hopefully one more cycle will clean those out and get it all relatively current. Lots of hijack domains still getting some benefit they don't deserve.

My backlinks and PR were increased nearly 3 weeks agi - no improvement in serps though - if anything they are worse. I dropped from page 1 to page 43, then after pr increased, I dropped off the scale and am not even on any page up to 100...

I am only down 1 PR because of fewer backlinks which in turn hit my sites, which in turn hit me, which in turn reflects the pos-florida serps. I am sure it's not the filter for me that changed anything, if there is any. It's the overall PR that accounted to it. Any other webmasters agree here?

I agree, although there was a backlink update at the time of Florida. Hope we don't have to redefine what an update is. Now, if G would only do something with the SERP's
