What's the go with Google losing it's cache.

Over the last week, Google updated it's cache of my website 3 times - GREAT!

Now it's reverted back to one 3 versions ago.

This happened before. How often is it likely to reoccur?

That's a common occurrance. Has been that way for some time now. If your page doesn't change over a 48 hr period the cached version reverts back to a master file.

The master file seems to be from 20 to 50 days behind.

It does cycle the old pages out, and if you make changes to your current pages, it does seem to speed up the process of cycling out the old pages.

What The F!

So I have to change my page (all my pages) daily-ish so that it (they) doesn't get reverted to last month's cache!?!?!?! AAARRRGGG

Is this not a bug of google's?

I can't see any reason why this would be a feature.

My site behave's like what kenton said and it's been old and new cache for three weeks now. And about the "cached version reverts back to a master file," is it permanent or just temporary?
