>> the data is still incomplete
I'm getting more and more convinced that this is not WYSIWYG...We see less and less of what data G really has...
Weird that for some sites, serps are improving while backlinks are decreasing by 50% or more and PR is still constant (albeit some also loses this). This can only indicate that the data G uses are not the data that we see, but it does not necessarily mean that it is incomplete, only that a smaller set is public...

I had two sites dropped from the index about two months ago. However, they still were crawled heavily by Google. I figured this update they would show in the serps but still not there. Strange thing is that they show backlinks but do not show when I do a search for site:www.url.com -dfdfdf I tried a reinclusion request but still not back. I can't figure why they were dropped and why they haven't reappeared. They were both #1 for 9 months straight for major keywords. Anyone experience similar problems? Any advice?

My PRs have all been updated after months of inactivity, as were the links a few days ago. I am wondering if this is the end of the last dance we were promised by GG a few months ago, and now everything will be continuous.

pmac, i could sticky you two websites that rank highly for keyphrases due to comment tag stuffing. couldn't be anything else because they have little onpage content and few backlinks. seeing is believing.
